Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
- possible work locations are our sites in Chemnitz or Dresden as well as Hybrid -
What you can expect:
- Development of system requirements in coordination with the customer
- Design and planning of vehicle functions
- Creating technical specifications for subsystem functions (system engineering)
- System design, component selection and coordination with suppliers
- Creation of technical concepts, specifications and functional circuit diagrams
- Working with modern CAE tools
- Researching standards and creating documentation
- Collaboration with other specialist departments (software engineering, mechanical engineering, safety, etc.)
What you bring with you:
- Completed studies or further training as a technician/master craftsman, preferably in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or similar
- An interest in transport and mobility with a focus on rail transport AND / OR
- the desire to make a personal contribution to a digitalized and climate-friendly future for rail transport
- Initial experience with circuit diagram software (Zuken E3, EPLAN P8, ELCAD or Engineering Base)
- Basic knowledge of control hardware and development (PLC, operating and visualization systems, bus systems)
- Knowledge of vehicle networking (CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, strong communication skills and an independent way of working
