For our Chemnitz or Dresden and Hybrid locations, we are looking for you as

Safety Engineer / Safety Manager (m/f/d)

What you can expect:

• Evaluation of functional safety and performance of safety analyses in accordance with EN50126, EN50657 and EN50129
• Implementation of risk management in accordance with Common Safety Methods (CSM), in particular CSM-RA
• Development of hazard and fault trees
• Application of analytical methods to determine reliability (FMEA/FMECA)
• Preparation of the technical safety plan in accordance with the Vehicle Safety Directive
• Interface with authorities, experts and external test centers

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies, preferably in engineering or similar
• Knowledge of relevant functional safety standards (e.g. EN 13849, EN61508, EN5012x, ISO26262, etc.)
• Interest in safety processes in railroad technology
• Experience in safety management, as a safety engineer / occupational safety specialist (not necessarily in the field of rail vehicles)
• Independent working style, willingness to communicate and ability to work in a team
• Interest in developing the topic in the long term
• Good knowledge of English
