Design engineer in the field of rail vehicles (m/f/d)

What you can expect:

• Design and integration of mechanical assemblies for rail vehicles
• Detailing of concepts, preparation of drawings and parts lists
• Analysis of installation space and adaptation designs
• Execution of the design according to production engineering aspects
• Interface clarification with adjacent specialist areas
• Coordination with suppliers

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable training, ideally with a technician's degree
• Sound knowledge of design (experience in the rail sector is an advantage)
• Good user knowledge of a 3D CAD system - preferably Creo Design
• Insight into relevant standards for machine components and drawing creation
• Independent and precise way of working, high reliability
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to work at customer site (within Germany) + remote share
