We are looking for you:

Intern/ Working student (m/f/d) multiple unit train

We would like to strengthen our team and offer you the opportunity of an internship (minimum duration 3 months) or a working student position in the field of electrics & control. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the day-to-day work of an engineer as well as experience in the implementation of real customer projects.

What you can expect:

• Operational refurbishment of a historic multiple unit
• Concept development for retrofitting one or more systems
• On-site installation test on the vehicle in Dresden
• Functional and electrical integration of the system(s) into the vehicle
• Preparation of technical documentation (conversion description, operating instructions, etc.)
• Support provided by an experienced developer

What you bring with you:

• Ongoing studies in the field of electrical/automation engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and components (relays, fuses, etc.)
• Initiative and communication skills 
• Good written and spoken German and English skills (Level C1)
• Interest in rail vehicles desirable
