Internship (m/f/d) in the field of construction

We would like to strengthen our team and offer you the opportunity of an internship (minimum duration 3 months) or a working student position in the field in the field of mechanical design in rail vehicle development at our location in Leipzig During the internship, you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the day-to-day work of an engineer as well as experience in the implementation of real customer projects.

What you can expect:

• Collaboration in the design and integration of mechanical assemblies for rail vehicles
• Detailing of concepts, preparation of drawings and parts lists, preparation of specifications
• Carrying out installation and installation space tests and adaptation designs
• Execution of the design according to production engineering aspects

What you bring with you:

• Ongoing studies in the field of mechanical engineering, rail vehicle technology, vehicle technology or comparable
• Good MS Office skills
• Good written and spoken German and English skills (Level C1)
• 3D CAD skills (preferably Inventor)
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
• Independent and structured way of working
